Biovigyaana Biopharma (OPC) Pvt. Limited was founded with a singular conviction: that the biopharmaceutical sector in India — and globally — needs a stronger, more connected ecosystem linking the expertise of industry with the innovation potential of academia.
The name Biovigyaana (bio + vigyaana, "science" in Sanskrit) reflects our roots in the rich tradition of scientific inquiry, combined with a modern, global outlook. From our base in Kolkata, we serve clients across India and internationally.
Our founder, Sabyasachi Halder, brings hands-on experience in biopharmaceutical development, quality systems, and regulatory affairs, having worked across multiple segments of the biopharma value chain.

Founder & Principal Consultant, Biovigyaana Biopharma
Sabyasachi brings expertise spanning biopharmaceutical process development, quality systems, regulatory affairs, and training in the biologics space. His career has spanned multiple dimensions of the biopharma industry, providing him with a holistic understanding of the challenges facing both companies and academic institutions.
Driven by the belief that knowledge transfer and ecosystem building are as critical as scientific discovery, he founded Biovigyaana Biopharma to create a focused, expert-led platform for consulting and training in biotherapeutics.
Sabyasachi is particularly passionate about strengthening the pipeline between Indian universities and the biopharma industry — ensuring that the next generation of professionals enters the sector with the practical knowledge needed to make an immediate impact.
